Daisy Productions to Present “She Kills Monsters”

This fall Daisy Productions will present "She Kills Monsters" running Thursday October 24 to Saturday October 26th, and again from Thursday October 31st (Halloween) until closing Saturday November 2nd, at Sweet Action Theatre located inside Artscape Youngplace (180 Shaw St)

All shows will be held at 8pm with no intermission.

The story follows Agnes, a young, "average" woman who has lost her teenage sister and only sibling, Tilly. When Agnes discovers Tilly's Dungeons and Dragons notebook, she ventures into a high-octane world on an unexpected adventure filled with dragons, gelatinous cubes and succubi. Not only does Agnes undergo a transition of newfound confidence, but she also earns a closeness with her sister she didn't have before. Written by Qui Nguyen, the script is steeped in edgy, comedic high-school speak that attracts a fan base from Geek theatre and beyond.

"She Kills Monsters" is directed by Zachary Moull, stage managed by Amanda Caliolo, produced by Madelaine Rose and Kelly Taylor, 2D projection design by Lorena Torres Loaiza, set & costume design by Kayla Chaterji, sound design by Heidi Chan, lighting design by Madison Madhu, dance choreography by Oriana Pagnotta and fight choreography by Josh Hood & Lee Stone

The cast includes Suzanne Miller, Madelaine Rose, Kelly Taylor, Francesco De Francesco, Jake Zabusky, Esther Stellar, Evan Sokolowski, Emily Ferrier, Lee Stone, Ermina Pérez and Mackenzie Kelly
