PROCESS is a space in which actors and creatives can explore and expand their performance craft tools. In PROCESS the focus is on experimentation and discovery, not product. Together we train in all aspects of performance, in a safe and supportive environment. We use games and exercises inspired by the pedagogy of the likes of Sanford Meisner, Keith Johnstone, Rudolf Laban, Declan Donnellan, Gabrielle Roth and many more. Sessions also cover a diverse range of skills from acting, movement, clown, improvisation and text.

The sessions are designed to provide a “gym” like environment for performers, so some professional experience or actor training is expected from participants. Please wear comfortable/loose clothing as we will definitely be moving!

CARLOS SANDIN is a UK-hailing actor and facilitator with an eclectic background in the performing arts. Despite his initial academic pursuits in Aerospace Engineering, he has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival four times in drama, musical theatre and clown, and professionally on stage and screen.

He is a graduate of Bristol Old Vic’s residency scheme, training under the likes of David Glass (David Glass Ensemble) and Sally Cookson (Jane Ayre, National Theatre) in physical and devised theatre. He continued his studies at the prestigious Arts Educational Schools London, where he received his MA in Acting under the guidance of Simone Coxall (Shakespeare Globe) and Richard Neale (Open Door). Since then, he has pursued further training in improv at Hoopla and The Free Association, as well as tutelage in clown and bouffon from Aitor Basauri and Toby Park (SpyMonkey Creation School), Peta Lily (Dark Clown), Chad Damiani and Nathaniel Justiniano

Carlos facilitates workshops in devised theatre, movement, improv and clown.
