Do you have curiosity about how to express yourself more clearly?
Have you ever wondered what a full time Lecoq or Physical Theatre program feels like?
Are you a creator who is looking to tap into your own presence, power and creative voice?
Anchored in the Lecoq pedagogy, we will be training with 3 physical masks; the Neutral mask, the Larval mask, and the clown nose. We will be challenging the body through solo exploration and group physical exercises with the goal to enhance play or “jeu” through deep awareness of the body, the space, the ensemble and the audience. This week will be physically challenging, emotionally expanding, and full of fun. By the end of the workshop, you will feel like a more confident creator and communicator with a wealth of new tools to draw upon applicable to the stage and everyday life.
We have also invited three guest experts who will run their own mini workshops within the week. That’s 4 experts for the price of one!
This intensive is open to: All levels of skill from professional artist to "I have absolutely no idea what any of this stuff is about, but I am very curious." It is not required to be a performer.
